What a way to start off the season!!! We have lots coming up in September, all the way through to October for our last open rehearsal of the year! Coming up next weekend, we will be performing at two very special events.
REMEMBER THEM: CHAMPIONS FOR HUMANITYThe first event is a Fundraising Gala for "Remember Them: Champions for Humanity" - we are excited to be a part of this event. Not only is it a beautiful addition to the City of Oakland, but is also fitting to our mission as an organization. Artist Mario Chiodo states, "This monument represents an international cross-section of visionaries throughout several centuries who have inspired and aided others through their passionate beliefs in human rights and peace." 10th YEAR COMMEMORATION OF 9/11It has been 10 years since the 9/11 attacks. We continue sending thoughts and prayers of peace and love to those affected by the attacks. We are honored to join the New Spirit Community Church at the Pacific School of Religion for a short service.

The following performances in September are action packed, starting with the
SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL! We'll be singing the national anthem on Saturday, the 17th, for this year's SF International Dragon Boat Festival. In addition, we will also be performing during the festivities. Bring your families and enjoy a day on Treasure Island, and watch the "largest dragon boat race in the US!"

To close off the month of September, we'll be travelling down to Half Moon Bay for a self-produced concert with
both the Youth and Adult choirs! Choir members and our family and friends are looking forward to spending a fun-filled day on the beach before the concert. You can get your tickets
online, at the door, or at Bay Books (Strawflower Center, HMB).
