Annual Holiday Concert - Saturday, DECEMBER 1st - Paramount Theatre (Doors open at 6:30)
Our concert date is approaching quickly. Have you gotten your tickets, yet? This year we are so pleased with the exciting program that we are planning for you. We know that you are going to love the lush selections that Terrance has chosen for us to sing. Some are saying that this is our best concert, ever! You will need to be the judge of that. The Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir will be hosting a “Warm Coat Drive” the evening of the Holiday concert, Dec 1 at the Paramount Theatre.
Bring in a warm coat – men, women or children’s – and we will donate them to The East Oakland Community Project, an emergency shelter for people who are homeless. The Holidays are a great time to consider those who are less fortunate than you. A warm coat can really make a difference to someone in need!
A table will be set up at the door where you enter the theatre and you can drop the coat there. Take a minute to go through your closet, and bring a coat that you no longer wear. Someone will appreciate it!
