Mark DeSaulnier brings more than fifteen years of senior administration and production experience to the performing arts. He has been responsible for fundraising, board development, strategic planning, marketing, and community engagement, as well as leading production efforts in venues ranging from 500 to 15,000 seats. Mr. DeSaulnier has worked with artists such as Kenny Loggins, Debbi Boone, James Newton Howard, Lou Rawls, Cab Calloway, Air Supply, and more. His previous executive and artistic experiences includes the Peninsula Youth Theater in Mountain View and the Pacific Symphony in Orange County.
As the Executive Director for the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir, Mr. DeSaulnier is honored to be working with a fine team in support of an organization with such a rich history. In addition to attending and presenting for nonprofit arts management seminars and events, Mr. DeSaulnier is a member of arts organizations such as CETA (California Educational Theatre Association), Chorus America, and the Theatre Bay Area Association.
