In 1989 The Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir's first recording was Live! at Calvin Simmons Theater (unreleased).
OIGC has since released three CDs:
  • Great Day — A Cappella Negro Spirituals (2002), recorded at Fantasy Studios and Emeryville Recording Company
  • Rejoice! Christmas With The Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir (1999), recorded at Fantasy Studios and Emeryville Recording Company
  • We’ve Come a Mighty Long Way (1995), recorded live at First Congregational Church of Oakland.

In addition to its own CD recordings, the Choir has recorded on three Grammy Award-winning albums:
  • MC Hammer's Too Legit To Quit (1991)
  • Tramaine Hawkins' Tramaine Hawkins - Live (1990)
  • Linda Ronstadt's Cry Like a Rainstorm, Howl Like the Wind (1989)

The Choir has also performed with the renowned Kronos Quartet on their 1992 album Pieces of Africa, and in June 2001, with Carlos Santana.

The Choir contributed tracks to compilation albums benefitting community service organizations such as the Bread & Roses Tribute to Mimi Farino and Radio station KAT 103's (Nebraska) Christmas for the Children

New recordings grow the Choir’s reputation, increase revenue, broaden its message, and provide a lasting impact on audiences.
