...supports delivering musical experiences to institutionalized and underserved audiences; serving the general public with free admission events; benefits for schools and fellow nonprofits; and presenting the Biennial Gospel Music Workshop and Annual Free Musical.
...supports our Youth Ensembles: OIYC, OIKC, and OYC. The ensembles offer musical, social, and personal learning that changes young lives. Youth programming also facilitates tours and lessons on music theory, poise and presence, health and hygiene, as well as résumé workshops and other life instruction tutelage.
...supports choir members who may be unable to participate due to financial obstacles such as monthly tuition and uniform costs. Funds can be applied for by members of all choirs. Tim Nugent, a restauranteur and community builder based in Oakland, is a long-time supporter of the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir.
